Biography

Jordan Weinreich is an experienced, results-focused litigator who has successfully and effectively represented his clients in complex legal matters in federal and state courts, and before arbitration panels, nationwide.  With a focus on business litigation, Jordan represents a diverse array of clients spanning a multitude of industries in all manner of business disputes, including commercial disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, brokerage industry disputes, employment disputes, and claims for unfair competition and other business torts.  In addition, Jordan has assisted clients in conducting internal practice reviews and investigations.
Jordan also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to litigating complex trust and estate matters as a member of Sherman Atlas’ Fiduciary and Estate Litigation practice group.  Jordan has successfully represented trustees, executors, and other fiduciaries, as well as beneficiaries, in connection with will contest and other fiduciary disputes, including fiduciary accountings, both in the New Jersey Superior Court and in the New York Surrogate’s Court.  Though he is always ready to bring these matters before the courts, Jordan understands that litigation among family members, whether in the context of a probate or other fiduciary dispute, or a closely-held business dispute, can extract a substantial financial and emotional toll.  With that in mind, Jordan works closely with Sherman Atlas’ well-known Estate Planning and Administration practice group to proactively identify potential issues and to counsel fiduciaries on carrying out their responsibilities in a manner that allows them to avoid litigation.

Prior to joining Sherman Atlas, Jordan was associated with Riker Danzig and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. While in law school, Jordan interned at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, Bureau of Securities in Newark.  Jordan also served as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers Law School, where he taught courses on securities regulation and securities arbitration.
