Biography
Jonathan is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation group.
Prior to joining Sherman Atlas, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, P.J.Cv. and the Honorable Robert J. Mega, P.J.Ch. in Union County, New Jersey. Jonathan obtained extensive civil litigation experience while managing the county’s Complex Business Litigation, insurance fraud, and foreclosure dockets. His law school involvement prepared him to resolve the courts’ high-volume motion practice, as well as to mediate dozens of civil matters to settlement.
Jonathan graduated from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 2024. While at Seton Hall, Jonathan developed his civil ligation abilities at all stages of a case. At the United States Attorney’s Office, he aided AUSAs with discrete strategy, discovery, privilege, and other pre-trial issues. In the Settlement Conference Advocacy Program, Jonathan secured favorable settlements before and after summary judgment. Jonathan won a civil defense verdict following a mock jury trial in federal court as part of the Denis F. McLaughlin Advanced Trial Advocacy Workshop. Jonathan then honed his appellate research and writing acumen while serving as the sole intern to the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., U.S.C.J. (Ret.) and his five clerks in the Third Circuit.
As an undergraduate, Jonathan competed as an attorney on Indiana University’s Mock Trial teams while earning his Law and Public Policy degree.
