Biography

Carolina Romero is an associate in the Banking and Finance group. She represents financial institutions in a variety of real estate and asset-based finance transactions across multiple industries.
 
Before joining Sherman Atlas, Carolina was a Staff Attorney at Blue Foundry Bank. She began her career as an associate in the Corporate Finance group at Freshfields US LLP.
 
Carolina earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. While at Penn, she served as Production Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law and Social Chair for the Latin American Law Students Association. She also contributed to several pro bono initiatives, including the Penn Law Immigrant Rights Project and the Criminal Record Expungement Project, and served as a mentor for the First-Generation, Low-Income Program for undergraduate students. Carolina received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Seton Hall University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
