Sherman Atlas Sylvester & Stamelman LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of new Counsel, David Falk.  We are also pleased to welcome two new Associates, Jaime Herrera and Nathania Reyes.

David Falk practices in the firm’s corporate department, where he focuses on general corporate and transactional matters including mergers, sales and acquisitions, early-stage company financings and investments, corporate restructurings, and corporate governance matters. Additionally, he represents clients in general commercial contract matters including supply, distribution and service arrangements, software and technology licensing, software-as-a-service agreements and other strategic alliances and joint ventures. He represents clients in a variety of sectors, including chemical manufacturers, food manufacturers and distributors, family offices, financial institutions and companies in the media, entertainment, and consumer products industries. Prior to joining Sherman Atlas, David practiced in the corporate department of an international law firm in New York City.  David received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law and his undergraduate from Lehigh University.

Our newest Associates are:

Jaime Herrera has joined the Firm’s Estate Planning and Estate Administration Department. Jaime focuses her practice on advising high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, charitable giving, and business succession matters in order to help clients achieve their personal, philanthropic, and business objectives in the most tax-efficient manner.  In addition, Jaime also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries with respect to estate administration, dispute resolution and guardianship and conservatorship issues.  Jaime received her law degree, cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law, her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, and her LL.M in Taxation / Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova University.

Nathania Reyes has joined the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group.  Nathania’s practice focuses on representing financial institutions in the mortgage banking industry in litigation, compliance and regulatory matters, including foreclosures and bankruptcy proceedings, in both state and federal proceedings.  Nathania received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Drew University.  Nathania is an active member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey where she serves as the Region 8 Trustee for Somerset and Hunterdon County.  She also serves as the Region III Young Lawyer Division Representative for the Hispanic National Bar Association.
